Melbourne Victory coach Ernie Merrick is not interested in the growing injury list at Gold Coast United in the lead up to their match this weekend.
"This team are third-top on the ladder, they have a lot of good players," said Merrick.
"What we've really done is focused on playing our best football against a really tough opponent and playing to our strengths, defensively and offensively.
"We've avoided looking at what the opposition team is going to be."
He added: "This is a game where we've got to show that we defend well and we can attack and defend as a group,"
"I feel that we've let down our fans, playing at home and conceding goals, just not defending well up front and in the midfield.
"So this is a very important game for us."
