Perth Glory goalkeeper Tando Velaphi will return from injury this Friday night against the Newcastle Jets.
Velaphi, 22, said: "There were a few concerns but it's mainly the risk factor. Basically after a concussion the likelihood of it happening again from a little knock on the head is quite high and that was the main thing they were looking at,”
"I've had a good rest and I'm feeling refreshed and ready to go.
"The last three days I've been training pretty hard. I can't really remember getting hit so there isn't much to be scared of. I'm feeling good, working hard and I'll work hard for the rest of the week and see what happens.”
